Questions these episodes answer
Why did Clément Souchier start Bridge Audio?

How does Bridge Audio use AI for music discovery?
Bridge Audio automatically describes every uploaded track with AI, tagging genre, subgenre, mood, and other attributes. Users can search their own catalogs and received content with detailed queries, like finding a cloud rap track by a female singer in Spanish about sand.

What funding has Bridge Audio raised?
The company raised a 1 million angel round in 2021 to build the first version. In March 2024 it closed a 2.25 plus 1 million round. The next round will likely include industry players like majors and independents taking equity.

Why does Clément call Bridge Audio the Switzerland of music assets?
Because the industry needs a neutral central point where everyone can share music. No single company owns a full track; co-publishers and multiple stakeholders are common. Majors spent millions on internal tools that employees disliked, so a shared platform is needed.

What early lesson did Clément learn about timing?
His smart radio company Sound Date was too early because people were not yet listening to music on computers. He declined a buyout offer and the company ended before streaming took off, teaching him that being too early can be as dangerous as being too late.
